My convertible top suddenly stopped working automatically, why?

I have to push the top up or top down buttons constantly instead of the top going up or down to the automatic stops by itself.

This vehicle should still be under warrranty, get the dealer to sweat over it.

Never mind. I called customer service and reset the roof/trunk.

With the car engine running and the car in park, push the top close button until the roof closes completely, and then hold for an additional 5 seconds. Then open the top all the way and hold the button for an additional 5 seconds. The car top should automatically set to the "sun roof" stop. Check to make sure the roof reset by re-opening to the 3/4 open stop. The roof/trunk should be reset, which it did.
