Is there anything odd about a couple of drops of water falling from the tailpipe when I turn the car off after simply running it. In other words I did not drive the car but since it has not been driven in a few days I ran it for 25 mins to keep the battery fresh. And when I turned it off a couple of drops of water fell from the tailpipe. Is this normal?

Yes its normal for condensation to drain from the muffler. That's why most mufflers have drain holes for water. As long as your not blowing steam clouds of coolant its normal.
