My 2010 ford expedition el 4 x 4 with 5.4 engine has a rear load leveling system. The vehicle has 50K miles on it and just started randomly dropping in the rear without warning. You can drive it for a minute or so and then the rear re-inflates and things are fine. This has now happened several times so we took it into the dealership we bought it at. Two days later they returned it to me stating they could not reproduce the issue? On the way home it did it again. Once I turn the system off, it stays inflated and does not leak.

Not sure where to start? The dealership stated compressor is fine and lines do not have leaks. My guess is the Yaw Sensor or one of the self leveloing valve actuators? But both sides go down together?

Help

Without having any codes the only thing that I can say and this is a guess, the vdm is leaving the solenoids open to the rear and they are deflating the shocks and once they are inflated and you turn the car off the solenoids close leaving the truck up in air. You might check the ground in pic as that is for that system. Other than that have no idea what to tell you without actually seeing it.
