My car has been running fine. I took it in for an oil change and tire rotation and my Subaru dealer insisted the car needed a power steering fluid replacement for $100.00. I did do it but never recall changing the power steering fluid in any other car I have owned. Was this necessary at this amount of mileage?

Well... where do I start. I have been in the automotive business for over 30 years. To be honest, I have never done it. However, recently it is becoming a common thing to do (needed or not). Regardless, I still don't see a need for it and especially at 38K miles. The car is still new in my book.
