The coolant gage does not work and the HOLD light is flashing.

Gentlemen,
The coolant light is at the bottom, not moving. The level of coolant is fine. the transmittion fluid is fine, and the oil level is correct.
How can I fix this myself, or run tests, or reset a fuse.....WITHOUT having to go to the dealer?

see if you are getting power to the temp sensorit cold be that or it goes to pcm then to gauge cold be aconnection as well. you could check ohms of temp sensor, if thosea rea workign ok thenn it's possible it's your gauge.
