2009 Mercedes Benz C300 Put in regular on accident

I accidentally put in regular gas. A full tank and I am hoping it doesn't mess up my engine. Will I be okay by running it out or do I need to take it to the dealership and have my gas tank dropped and empty?

The only thing you will notice is a some what lack of power, the on board computer will compensate for the lower octane fuel, at 1/2 a tank re fill with premium and you should not have a problem.

Thank you so much. Another friend of mine who owns a GL550 she did the same and she said I would be fine just run it out then put in premium

The engine management system will re tune for low octane fuel, so no big deal, no damage to any engine or fuel system, so just top up with premium and don't give it a second thought.
