what would hapen when you jump start and you swap your terminal positve to negative and negative to positive?

Maybe something can blow-try the main fusible link first and then let me know

If you are really lucky, nothing. However, usually the main fuses in the power distribution box (under the hood) will blow. It can damage other things too. Are you experiencing specific problems?
