Hear a rattling noise while driving and someone.
2009 CHRYSLER SEBRING
Hear a rattling noise while driving and someone believes that it the valve train? And I would need to replace the engine? Isn't that a bit extreme.

Have someone with a trained ear hear the noise. They can tell you right away if it is the valves. And no, that doesn't mean the engine needs replaced.
