When I turn my wheel left or right, it makes a rubbing or sqeaking sound. It seems like the noise is coming from the joint between the steering wheel and the steering column.

I have the same problem with my 2009 Suburban. Lubrication did not work for me. I have the steering column cover off now and am searching for the source of the squeek. It sounds like it is coming from the area of the column behind the turn signal.
