Recently had trans work done to it. All of a sudden it is shaking while driving and stopping. It has been hard to start and is throwing up the engine light. Any ideas? Thank you sooooo much

There could be a vacuum leak not related to the transmission but a fallout from the service done to the car.
The best place to start is to go to an Advance or Auto Zone parts sotre and get them to pull the trouble codes. They will do it for free. I f you get a code for Lean/Rich fuel misture, you probably have a vacuum leak. In the mean time, listn under the hood for a sucking or whistling sound and see if you can find a broken or disconnected hose.
If you need any help with the codes, come on back and we will be here to help.
