I just replaced rotors and brake pads all the way around. Now when driving I hear grinding from the 2 rear wheels. It seems that it only grinds on a small area of the rotor.I have used chalk on the rotor to see where it grinds against the brake pads. It is both back wheels that are grinding. The calipers seem to be working just fine.

I would keep driving the vehicle awhile because it will take some miles to get the new pads to seat fully onto the rotor friction surface. Where on the rotor is the pads rubbing? Out side friction surface or inside or both? Do the rear brake pads move freely on the caliper bracket or are the pads stiff? Or in other words, did you need to tap the brake pads onto the brake caliper bracket? Talk to you soon, TY
