2008 Nissan X-Trail noise

Hi when I just begin to push on the exelerater and some times when I completely taken my foot off I hear a kind of popping sort of sound that lasts a couple of seconds. Do you know what the problem is? It doesn't happen all the time, sometimes it's worse than others

Have a pro look at valve train it may be a valve isn't opening due to something worn out or bent.
