This evening my car would not start. I was able to jump start it but noticed while driving home that the headlights would go dim and then bright again. No indicator light came on the whole drive home. What might the problem be?

I would make sure the battery cables are clean and tight and also have the battery and alternator tested. Let me know what you find.

I cleaned the connection and tried to start the car and all the indicator lights flashed on and off, there was a clicking but the engine did not turn over a bit.

You need to get the battery tested and if its bad replace it then test the alternator.
