P1260 theft detected engine disabled

I have a 08 Ford Taurus X SEL every now and then it will shut down or all the lights on the dash will come on and if you turn off the car the pats symbol will blink and the car will not start I have access to a diagnostic computer so I used it and got a P1260 theft detected engine disabled.

I disconnected the battery first that didn't work I tried to jump it off that didn't work either then I reset the fuel pump shut off switch and that did not work either when my friend showed up with his computer we found that code what could be the problem.

The security system has the vehicle shut down. I hate to say it, but you need to have a dealer scan the computer to identify where the problem is coming from. They are the only ones with the proper test equipment.
