Hi.2007 Skoda Superb 1.9tdi Classic 115bhp Saloon.

When at a speed of say 40mph on a level road and nearing a red light, leaving the car in gear and footoff the power the revs drop very slowly but the car seems to be still getting intermittant fuel ( footoff power ). She then begins to chug chug chug? Car has just been serviced and issue remains?

What are the possible causes on this symptom and likely costs to put right?

Regards,

Do you have a check engine light on? If so, please have scanned and provide codes present and/or pending. Could possibly be carbon buildup on throttle plate preventing full closure, possible TPS issue, possible fuel pressure regulator issue. Please provide a little more info. Thanks, Doc DTC
