Been told my transmission fluid cap is sealed

I have tried to get my transmission fluid changed but have been told it is sealed and I need to take it to the dealership where I got it and have them break the seal. Why is it sealed

Do you know which transmission it has? 4T45 or 5AT?

It should be in your owner's manual, or on a tag on the side of the transmission.

Lets try this look inside your glove box I belive you will find a sticker with a bunch of rpo codes. List all the codes on that label starting with a M.
