Our van has the "Air Bag" light coming on recently and I'm not sure why. I know the air bag is an important safety feature, so I'll probably have to bite the bullet and take in to get it looked at. I'm just wanting to get myself prepared for what this is going to cost. Best case scenario to worst. I'm hoping they will just hook it up and see that it needs reset at a very minimal cost. Or is there anything I can do myself?

No re set. It is on for a reason and you must find the reason, diag for failed part and repair. The light will go out by itself when repaired.

We need the code to proceed.

It could be a clock spring to the controller, any one of these items among others can be the failure. None of them are cheap
