2007 KIA 6 cyl Rondo SE just turned 60 k. Owner's manual recommends timing belt replacement. Should plugs, plug wires, thermostat and water pump be changed as well because of access problems with this engine? What other items might be most efficient to replace along with timing belt as long as you are "in there?"

I just replaced timing belt on my 07' Rondo 2.7l, I recommend always do a water pump on timing belt driven pumps. I would replace, idler pulleys and tensioners. All parts I ordered online for different places and probably cost about $300 or so for parts. No need to replace thermostat unless having issue with it. Took about 5 hours or so and I wasn't really rushing. You'll need 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 17mm and 22mm sockets of different drives to do the job. Good luck to all.
