Dealership stated that it was a busted emmision hose and will cost $260

Send my wife back to dealer ship to show her where the hose is and to itemize part cost andlabor

CS told her that the hose is from a roll and not expensive but they need 5 hours to take it apart and reassemble and they could not show it to he because it is hidden behind the motor

I am not an mechanic and never heard anything like a "emission hose" this term sounds very general and it sounds very fishy

I there such part on this car and where would it be if it exist?

I would have a second shop look @ it. I'm gessing that there talking about an evap hose. The fact that thay can't show it to you is odd. I don't think there is a hose on that car that is for the evap that's that hard to replace. Have a 2nd shop look @ it. Just to be safe.

What is the code that you are getting? I work for a Hyundai Dealership and can hopefully give you a better answer. The only evap line that I can think that could take awhile to replace is the one that runs from the purge valve to the gas tank. I have yet to see one of those fail unless a rodent got to it. Please let me know what the code is if you can.
