2007 Hyundai Elantra EPS Light

I started driving and about 5 minutes into it the EPS light came on. The RPM's were reeving high and it didn't want to shift to next gear. Then the check engine light came on. It has been raining really bad here today as well. Don't know if that has to do with anything. I am far from home too.

The first thing you need to do is get the codes read, and write them down and post them here for us. Particuarly any p07_ _ codes. It sounds like a trans issue and could very well be related to the wet weather.
