Good Morning I have a 2007 Ford Explorer Sports Trac with 95,000 miles. This morning when I started up the vehicle it sounds like someone is dropping marbles or gravel into a metal pan and it did not go away yet. Any suggestions or ideas what could be wrong?

Check oil level first.

If OK, you may have an accy. Drive component that has a bad bearing.

To check (on COLD engine) remove belt and run engine for 30 seconds, if noise goes away, then a alt, AC compressor or something driven by drive belt is bad.
