My bf's mechanic said they make holes in the engine the size of a pencil and they were made to small and that makes the oil thicken and turn to sludge if u dont maintain your oil changes (isnt that the norm on all cars) my bf thinks that he knows best and is definatly rite. Though he has been proven wrong b4!

I think you're talking about the oil galleys? Even if this is true use full synthetic and it can't happen.

He wasnt to detailed but he said the engine is junk. But im stuborn and want nothing more than to buy it but I need that nudge saying its ok and dont have major problems. I believe that its not the maker or the model where the problem lies.I think its the individual vehicle. Maby ha came across that problem b4 but it could have been that1 car.Y would the make and model be on the market if there are major engine flaws

I think your rite.I bought it and its a 3.5 and they have been using synthetic. Its just an se and is mint. Such a head turner. The gas tank is smaller than I had on my 99 Toy Solara but its not a huge difference on the gas mileage. The toy would now take 60 to 70 to fill. The charger is full w aprox50$
