I was told my timing belt and water pump needed replaced. Now from experience ive heard its not always thebest idea to replace your timing belt. They said that there is a leak in my water pump thats going on to my timingbelt. Now im not wanting to replace the timing belt but I went an got the water pump an was needing information on how to replace that where I wont have to take it to a shop due to the fact I have a three year old so money is extremly tight. If you could help me with some instructions that would be very much appriciated. Thanks for your time.

You are making a big mistake not replacing the belt. You have to remove it anyway to get the pump.

Replace it! You are going to be there anyway. It's not an expensive part.
