grinding noise when braking after replacing rear brake shoes, brakes have been adjusted and all spring hardware has been replaced.

Did you check the front pads?
If the drums are not worn evenly, new shoes can result in noise. Likewise if the shoes have a different width, same would occur.
If the noise is confirmed to be from rear brake, you need to recheck the installation. A spring could have been installed incorrectly esulting i n it rubbing against something.
