2006 Saturn Ion front wheel bearing

I believe the right front wheel bearing is making a noise on my 2006 saturn Ion 2 when I am driving down the highway it make a roar sound seem to get louder when slowing down is it danger. How do I replace the right front wheel bearing on this 2006 saturn Ion 2 car is that a special tools that I use. The steerling feel like it is ok.

Let's first see if its bad but there is no special tools needed its a bolt on hub/bearing. Do you have a floor jack and Jack stands?

Put the front of the car up on jack stands so the front wheels are off the ground. Put the car in neutral then put one hand on the coil spring and use the other hand to spin the tire as fast as you can. Compare both sides if you have a bad wheel bearing you will be able to feel it in the coil spring. Let me know what you find.

I put the car up on jack stand and put the car in neutral then put one hand on the coil spring and use the other hand to spin the tire as fast as I could and I feel the bad wheel bearing on the right front coil spring, so how do I replace the wheel bearing?

Remove the rotor caliper etc remove the axle nut then unbolt the hub assembly from the back side of the knuckle.

Sorry never got a email alert you responded to me again. The cheapest place would be to order it from rockauto dot com. For that its actually a hub/bearing assembly.
