Check engine light on

Few days ago, I came back home with the car and I decided to rotate the tires and inflate them a bit. As soon as I have those things done, I started the car and the check engine light came on and. It is still on. I didn't drive the car since that time, but I am just curious: it is possible to be some connection between the rotate/inflate tires with the check engine light? Could any of that be the cause to turn that light on?
Thanks!

Cant think of any take it to a auto parts store and have them scan it for codes. Write down the code numbers they give you and let me know what they are.

I will do that after Jan 1. I will update on that, because seems so strange to be any connections between inflate/rotate tires and the light. Never know those days
