Problem with drivetrain

Stick went loose while shifting from 1st to 2nd. It appears something came loose. Ford Focus manual hatchback. 06

The first thing your going to have to check is the cable's where they attach to the transmission and the stick inside where you shift. That way you can see if it's a cable issue or something else.
