i have a 06 dodge stratus leaking oil. i was told crankshaft was bad and it would be better to just replace the engine. if i replace this engine, will this happen again?

Ok, my first question is....

How did they determine the Crank Shaft is Bad?

Did you buy it new? If so how many miles are on it...

If you purchased it used I would see about a second opinion...

Were is the oil leak?

Is there any noise coming from the engine?
