2006 Dodge Ram oil in the engine air filter

found a little oil in the engine air filter. Where is it coming from?

Most likely, it is coming from the Positive Crankcase Ventalation system (PCV) system. The PCV allows crankcase pressure to be vented into the intake system. If the engine has wear, sometimes the pressure gets high enough to allow oil to make it to the air filter. I would suggest replacing the PCV valve and drive it. Check the filter again after a couple thousand miles. If it is wet again, chances are it will continue to slowly just get worse over the miles. Always remember to check your oil level, and I really wouldn't be overly concerned at this point.
