2006 Dodge Ram Fuel

When I try to start the car I have to crank it like twice and hold it for about 3 seconds each time so it can turn on other then that it wont and before it would crank up just fine with no problem at all! Also I been smelling a lot of gas outside the truck! I dont have the check engine light on or anything and the bulb is fine!

Let the vehicle run for a few minutes and then turn it off and trace the fuel lines from underhood to the fuel tank, checking for a gas leak.

Also, have the fuel pressure checked.
