Is Autel MaxiDas DS708 good scantool. Is it bidirectional and works on american cars and asian. Do you recommend it?

Thats a pretty popular scan tool it is bi directional and works on asain domestic and should work on European.I have used one once from what I hear they have more bidirectional etc for none domestic cars. Make sure you get a real one not a china knock off one that is authentic and that you can register with autel and get the software upgrades from them. Also to my understanding they stopped making that model.

I thought they are made in chine?Where can I find geniun one and how can do I know if its geniune? I know harbor freight sales them are there geniune?

The problem with the harbor freight one is it only has a 90 day warranty unless they sell a extended warranty for it. Its not a bad price with a 20 percent off cupon makes it like 840 plus tax. If you dont get a genuine authentic one you cant register it with autel get updates etc. Your going to have to ask them if it is. Ebay sells them amazon sells them just who ever you buy one make sure you ask them if its the real deal so you can register it and update it.
