My transmisssion asts like it is slipping every once in a while. I press on the gas when I first take off and that is when the transmission feels like it hesitates or slips. I was told that there is a sensor on the transmission that casues this. Is this true and can it be replaced?

It could be many things that could cause this. If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned for trouble codes. Also, make sure the trans fluid is clean and full.
