Replaced pump & serpentine belt - still no power steering. Fluid levels are good. Hear a hissing type noise when wheel is turned.

What was it doing before replacement? Could be rack/valve problem.

Hi, thanks for the replies. I do have brakes. Seems like the car steers fine except when I have to turn to the left, then it gets hard to turn and hisses. Yes, it was doing this before replacement. Odd thing is that this all started about a month ago when I realized that the noise my car was making might be the power steering pump (a different noise), so I went and checked the fluids and it was really low. I knew I had a leak, so I bought the stop leak and filled up with that. Then about 2.5 weeks later, it got really hard to steer going into parking spaces, etc.I googled checked the fluid levels again and turned the wheel from side to side a few times. Seemed to get better for a day or two. But then back with a vengeance. Hissing most noticeable when turning to the left and hard steering also at tight turns.
