Advance said it was a small emissions leak. We changed the gas cap because a rubber seal was missing. Is there something I need to do to reset the light. If it is not the gas cap, what are the other possibilities with a small emissions leak? Any advice would be much appreciated!

well from what I've had with this issue first off if you're showing any kind of a short circuit issue and or small leak large leak showing that your gas cap is not working you might want to have them test your evap vent solenoid mine went bad and it started sending all kinds of codes when it was actually the EVAP vent solenoid that was bad also you might want to have them look at the connection to the body where your evap vent solenoid is connected to the part number is PT1123 or pt1070 depending on how your car is wired whether it has the eight wires or the 12 wires the the speed sensor harness is where both your wheel sensors the fuel tank and evap vent solenoid are also connected into that harness and that harness tends to rot out on GM vehicles I'm no mechanic but some of the issues that you're saying you have your going to be chasing the issues because one of those few things could be wrong they had to rewire mine
