About a month ago, smoke was pouring out from around my steering column. One by one, my electrical equipment went out-radio, lights, car locks, windows, etc.. until the vehicle went completely dead. The car is completely dead.

the column will have to be inspected for damage. you should have addressed it when it happened. hopefully, the fusible link melted and prevented anymore damage.

you need an electrical shop to asess the damage and give you a bid.

Just to add to this one did the key in ignition warning chime stop working before all this happened?
