2005 Saturn Other Starting Problems

When the Saturn is cold in the morning, the car starts up find. But when I drive it in the after noon after the car is warm, and I park it in a parking space, I try starting the Saturn, and it wont start at all. Can you help me solve this problem. Thanks for your help. rudy_cordeiro@yahoo.com

Hi:

That's odd that it would do it only when warm. However, stranger things have happened. lol I need to know how mechanically inclined you are if I give you directions to check things.

Also, I need to know if the check engine light is coming on or the security light. Let me know and I can get started directing you.

Okay, let me try to better understand. When you say it won't start, do you mean the starter won't engage and crank the engine or do you mean it cranks but won't start?

Just to add to this one what model saturn and engine size do you have?It could be a crankshaft position sensor i have seen those being bad cause those symptoms.You could have a code even with a check engine light coming on.
