I have a 2005 jeep grand cherokee 5.7 liter V8, and my electronic throttle control (ETC) light is blinking everytime I accelerate, I went to the dealer they tried to fix it, what they did was they change the sensor, they change the accelerator, and they change the gas pedal, and it cost me a lot of money, but still it did not work! It still keeps on blinking with reduced performance. They told me its better to change the whole computer system of the car.

The problem could be coming from the computer; however, I would have it checked before just replacing it. Do you know if they checked for trouble codes?

They Checked the codes 5 times. They have done almost everything before they go to plan B in which change the whole computer system of the car. How much do you think it would cost? Please tell me cause I have limited budget.
