I have a tapping noise comimg from my fan belt area I recently had it change. Also wen I start my car in the mornings I turn my key the starter motor starts to turn over thn there is a pause a strange noise thn continues to start

You may be able to isolate tap with a tube/wand held to ear aimed at noise. You can also get stethoscope cheap at harbor freight. Starter is probably gear is slipping momentarily. Or flywheel has a problem. Gear is replaceable separately or with new starter.

Any ideas on the fan belt aswell is not so much a tapping noise it sounds lyk there is something hanging if or catchin on something but wen the engine is warm it stops
