I recently noticed that after my car has been parked for several hours the headlamps start to slightly flash on and off. I took car to the mechanic and he told me that it could possibly be the body control module. Is this costly to fix? And where is this BCM located on my car?

The headlamps are controlled by a part called the "Smart Junction Box" which is mounted behind the fuse box on the driver's side.
