spark plugs and wires 2005 dodge stratus i need help ..

I been trying to change the spark plugs and wires on a 2005 Dodge Stratus STX 4 door with the letter X in the Vin # It has a 2.4L 16 valve engine in it . The problem is I can't the wires to come out you can feel it move alittle and come undone from the plug but the wire will not come out of the hole. I was told to undo the wire from the coil and twist the plug wire and pull up and it will come out. The car has 200k miles on it to my knowledge they have never been changed . Can anyone give some advice on how to remove the wires from the plug hole .

Are you talking about pulling the boot off the spark plug? Can you grab the boot ok? The autostore sells a spark plug wire puller. Sometimes if I can't grab the boot very well, I use a long handle pair of pliers, grab the boot, twist and pull. Sometimes they are stubborn.
