Timing belt snapped

The timing belt went in my 1.4 lacetti and im just wondering if its just a matter of replacing in or could there be more damage too the engine

To find out you need to open the front cover and investigate thoroughly what really happened

Thanks. I was talking too a mechanic and he was just saying too me that in some cars its just a matter of replacing it so I was only wondering

At that mileage could be due for replacement-get it changed over-
