Acceleration hesistant

Hi

I have the 2l hdi citroen C5 estate. When you accelerate at a medium level the car seems to hesitate around 1800rpm and then picks up again. Any ideas what could cause this. Mainly happens in 2nd or 3rd gear

Our database does not have any information for this vehicle so I am not able to research on it.

Have you checked for trouble codes? If any is present, it might tell you something. Vehicles nowadays are not as simple as before and diagnostic equipments are a must in most cases such as this.
We cannot be replacing components blindly hoping it would solve the problem.
