you have my previous question. was not given a definitive answer. i know that if lower half of engine has an issue, heads may not fix the compression problem; however, my question was,"will the new heads give me blowback" thanks

blowback normally doesn't come from the head area, it is usually bad piston rings that do that or stuck piston rings. Also a bad pcv system not working will also let pressure build up in engine. New heads may not fix the problem. Has a compression test and leakdown test been done?

what was compression? if a 20% variance between any cylinder then there is something wrong. the only possible way that blowby could be fixed with heads is if one or more of the valves were burnt. A leakdown test even with a burnt valve would not show piston ring problems because it couldn't build up pressure and hold it.
