I read your response regarding the loss of sound in an srx. I have the same issue. I have checked the fuses and both are ok. I'll try the battery trick tomorrow. I was interested in the door chime comment, though, no chime, no crackle, not a sound, but all features of the radio (display, change functions, CDs load..) all work fine...
