Why would I need a new drive train if mine works fine?

My service guy at the dealer said I should get a new drive train at 7 years - but with only 56,000 miles, do I really need to spend $1,000? Do I need a drive train just because the manual says I do after 7 years?

Well no maybe a clutch assembly but would wait till it starts to slip. Drive train is everything from engine to wheels NOT something replaced. Maybe he meant warranty is up and selling you an extended warranty
