2004 Vauxhall Astra my car seems to spin

Hi there, I serviced my car last December previous to the annual MOT. A couple of time, in particular after it has been raining and I am driving up a hill I have notice the car sort of spins. I have done nothing so far. Would this be a symptom I need new tires?

If you are losing traction on wet roads, yes, that would be an issue with the condition and quality of the tires.
