When I accelerate my car shakes and when I apply the brakes it feels as if the car dips in the front, what can I do to make my more sturdy and what can of shocks and strut can you recommend for my car so I can get a better ride

With this many miles on it, the coil springs may be worn out. You may want to check that before replacing the struts. As far as the vibration when you accelerate, has the check engine light come on? Have you checked motor and trans mounts? What is the condition of the tires?
