Had to repair the oil pan and put in new oil
2004 OLDSMOBILE ALERO
Had to repair the oil pan and put in new oil. Now it starts and runs but when you drive it, it stalls at about five miles. Could it have to much oil now?

Check the crank sensor. It may have been damaged when the pan was repaired.
