Hi, I just bought Kia Morning year 2004 with a mileage 180000 km. I have change engine oil, transmission oil, water coolant but I have a problem when the engine is hot. The symptoms is when it hot it lurch the car when I accelerate from a stop. And just today I bring it to the dealer they sad it is normal if I want to admit the problem just increase from 750 rpm to 1000 rpm or 1200 rpm but it seem to force my car work harder when I standby. But I have surf on the internet some user sad this might be problem of the ECM so just reprogram the ECM is fine. But I was in cambodia there might not have this service, so what should I do to my car. Thank you.

This to me does sounds like it could be an ECM/TCM software issue. The only way to really tell is to go into the computer and read the part# stored in the computer and then check to see if there is an updated part# to correct any issues. Some independent shops may have the capability to update it if they have the proper equipment. If not then you may need to go to a dealer.
