Limp mode

Trans filter stopped up replaced and had a leak fixed leak.I guess it went into limp mode. It won't shift up into drive I can only go bout 30 mph I guess it is in limp mode. How do I get it out of limp mode Do I have to ate it to shop and put Ina computer or cani just clear codes

Hello,

Most of the time you can simply turn the engine off then wait for a minute and start it back up. The car will come off of the limp mode if the issue does not exists. Sometimes you will have to disconnect the battery for a minute to get it reset.
